Clutch won't go out, stuck on side of road.
I was just leaving my neighborhood and my car stopped going into gear. So now I'm waiting for a towtruck to come. The transmission seems to be working fine, since if I jam the shifter into gear it works, but the clutch peal is totally limp. If I press it there is zero pressure. I know I've heard of this problem before but I can't remember what it is. I just changed the clutch about 500 miles ago btw..
What could it be? I check the fluid resevoir and it's ok.

Sounds like the slave cyl just let go.
You can get one at the dealer. For about $100 you can get a new reservoir, master cyl, slave cyl, and line all assembled and pre-bled; it's great having that whole system all brand new.

I 2nd that! had 3 of them go on me when i had the centerforce and t5 in my car. I know the feeling, but i drove it all the way home in 3rd gear. I was also told by the techs at gm that I shouldn't use dot 5 brake fluid, and that if they found out i did, it would void the warranty on the slave cylinder.
Best of luck, I've been down that road a few times

Yes it is possible but not much fun.
You will have to get the line out of the old cylinder, which is real joy with the whole thing still in the car. It's held in by a roll pin.

I was actually surprised by how easy it was to fix just the slave. I set the slave up on the A-arm, got a punch and used the broad side of a pair of pliers. It only took me about 4 minutes to remove it from the line and replace it. I suggest getting the whole thing however because NO ONE not even GM sells that line seperate which means if you replace the master and slave(as I did) but not the line, if/when the line goes out then you're screwed into have an extra set of hydraulics that will probably have dryrotted seals before the current ones go out again.
