I have a few probs w/ my car. Help please!
Well, it's been in the garage since November w/ me starting it every week or so. The problems I knew about b/f: miss in acceleration, whining noise, cracked brake lines. And now a new problem hase come up. It's showing that I have very little oil press. Checked the oil and it was low, added oil and press. is still the same. Can anybody help on any/all of these probs?

low oil pressure..
change your oil & filter,
check your PCV to make sure it's not stuck closed.
Let gauges warm up and check charging voltage.
Your pressure sending unit may be getting tired too. Cheap to replace.

Yeah, the pressure does rise when I rev the engine but not very much. At idle, it's in the red, at a rev, it goes up just above the red. It's nowhere near where it should be. I'm gonna change the oil and see what happens b/c I know there is enough in there. Anybody know about the miss? It happens after the car warms up. I had a miss exactly like this b/f and I found a burnt plug wire, but everything has been checked by me and two mechanics and they can't find anything.
thanks

that doesn't sound good.
I would pull the pan and check things out.
1) make sure the oil pickup tube didn't fall off the pump.
2) make sure the screen on the pickup tube isn't clogged.
(your symptoms do not sound like these two things.. but you never know)
3) make sure the pump is bolted on tightly.
it does sound like something could be loose or have to much play (pump, or bearings)
I have also seen a bad camlobe or sticking lifter cause a drop in oil pressure at idle. There are several possibilities.
at the very least check that stuff. You may just need a new pump. They are easy to replace once the pan is off.
I always use the solid metal coupling on the oilpump driveshaft.
