How big of a Cam can I use Z28 Springs with?

I've got a set of stock L98 heads, with brand new (1000 Miles) stock Z28 springs. How much cam can I put in the motor without needing new springs?

Current Cam Specifications:
* Advertised duration: 282 intake/282 exhaust
* Duration at .050 in. cam lift: 224 intake/224 exhaust
* Gross valve lift: .465 in. intake/.465 in. exhaust
* Lobe separation: 114 degrees
* RPM range: 2,200 to 5,200

Desired Cam Specifications:
* Advertised duration: 292 intake/292 exhaust
* Duration at .050 in. cam lift: 234 intake/234 exhaust
* Gross valve lift: .488 in. intake/.488 in. exhaust
* Lobe separation: 114 degrees
* RPM range: 3,000 to 6,200

Thoughts?

what kinda rocker studs are you running? if pressed in i would get them pinned or some screw in ones especially if you go with a bigger cam. General rule of thumb is after 4.75" lift IIRC. About the cam, im not sure. i though most z28 sprngs are made for .49 lift....the new cam would be cutting it close but theres only one way to really find out....worse comes to worst you have a built in rev limiter / buy bigger sprigngs later

z28 springs aren't good for any lift. trash them and the factory rotators and buy a set of good springs like comp or lunati sells.
