Timing chain for my old 305 TPI
Hello im looking to purhcase a timing chain from summit but dont know what brand should I go with? My car is a 1985 Iroc-Z with the 305 TPI, Summit has a Comp Cams timing chain (CCA-3136 1987-90 Chevy V6 305-350 with factory roller cam $74.39). My question is my car is 1985 , would it still fit? Also if anyone has any other better ideas or experiences with other brands please comment.

No that one will not fit your car; it's for factory roller motors from 87 up, which a 85 car does not have.
In the Comp product line, the one you want would be the 3100.

Thanks, after I posted that I went back and looked and it did say that it was for a rolller cam. Guess I'll find another one.
