I have an auto tranny (1990 camaro rs), when Im racing at wot the tranny sometimes does not upshift until I let go of the gas. If I manually shift it myself (1-2-d-od) will the same problem occur or will the tranny upshift at WOT?

 

The same problem will occur because of the "normally open" 3-4 upshift valve in your trans. You need to buy a "normally closed" valve to replace it.
