I have a 91 Z-28 with a 305 TPI,5 speed in it. It has a problem with the idle speed,When you first start the car it wants to idle about 2 thousand RPM and that is even after the car is warm. Then after about a minute the car will start to idle down,and begins to realy idle eratic, up and down, up and down and then it dies if you don't stay right on the gas pedal. I thought at first that it was the throttle positioning sensor but 60.00 dollars later I find out that isn't it. It is a real pain in the butt and I have to get it figured out before my wife plows a fuse. I would realy appreciate some input, Thanks NORT P.S it also gets worse the warmer the car gets!!

Hey NORT, first thing I'd do is follow the IAC reset procedures in the Tech Section.
