thanks for reading, here's the plan, i have a 90 gta with the 305, decided to hold off on the 350 till next year and get all the acessories this year do the motor next year, but i need some more from the 305.
here's what i'm getting/have:
a stock 305, edelbrock headers, borla exhaust, accel gen7(so i'll be compatible with just about anything i hope), stealth ram intake is coming cause i have an intake manifold vac/oil/coolant leaks now so i might as well put that on now.
i'm worried the stealthram wil be too much for the stock cam/config so figured i'd bump up the bumpstick while i'm in there.
i was gonna go with the hot cam with the 350 but i havent' done any research on the 305, this was decided late in the game to stay with the 305, any help would be apreciated.
thanks
jim
ps, you can replace the cam in the car with the radiator out right???

You can replace the cam with the motor in the car as long as you remove everything that is in front of it. Also you will see that an L98, LT1, or LT4 cam is very popular for any 305. They add a lot of power and are within the limits of the stock heads lift wise.

keep us posted on the HSR 305. AFAIK, no one has attempted that yet. Are you going to rebuild the bottom end? I know the HSR likes to rev....
