Clicking while accelerating

Clicking while accelerating

sound is coming from under the drivers side of the dash. doesnt happen when at constant rpms just when accelerating. the faster the acceleration the louder the noise. it driving me nuts. i searched but it proved unsuccesful. i thought i read one time that if u bend a peice of metal near the tranny it goes away but i cant find n e thing. what could it be?

Just some ideas...

Possibly could be detonation (ping) or maybe an exhaust leak?
Have you tried using a higher octane fuel to see if the "clicking" goes away?

damn i just filled my tank yesterday. i will try that next time i fill or some octane booster.

Exhaust leak where the manifold goes against the head at the back left cyl

Tighten the exh man bolts
