whats a good way to lube my speedo cable?
i bought a new cable, installed it, it bounces, oops i forgot to lube it and it didnt come pre lubed.. i dun want to run tot he store atm but i do have carb cleaner, k&n filter oil, motor oil and rubbing compound, lol would any of those make a good lube for the speedo cable? and if not.. what can i buy thats fairly cheap that will work?>

cool thanks for the quick reply, im gonna go do that now. how much should i let run down the tube? you poor it in the end that hooks to the speedometer correct?

I would slide the inner cable out, pour some in(maybe till it stops going in, dont have to though) then slide the inner cable back in, if oil comes out before it is all the way in, good, it means the housing is full of oil
