Another header question for ya...
A 86 305 TPI with a Summmit 442 lift cam... should I buy the SLP 1 3/4" or 1 5/8"? And has anyone done this before on an 86 TPI? Will I need to lift the engine... will it bolt up to my existing cat? I'm pretty sure I have the bigger inlet compared to smaller later years.

1-5/8". Stock motor, little cam, you'll end up with zero exhaust velocity and consequently reduced low end torque with the bigger primaries.
