Fan won't come on

Any ideas to get my fan to come on when it's supposed to? The other day the guage was at about 210 and no fan. I haven't really gotten into it and checked the fan over, but is there anything obvious I should check first? Thanks

I'm not sure what kind of car you have, but if I'm not mistaken the fan shouldn't come on until 220-230* anyways..

Sorry. I'm driving a '90 Formula with 305 TBI. I'm not sure when the fan should come on but I thought it was sooner than that.
