Can you use roller rockers on a regular non roller camshaft

Yes, when people refer to "roller" and cam they are usually talking about roller lifters. Not roller rockers. Rockers are competely independent of the cam or lifter type.

there are two types of locating systems used on GM rockers, self aligning and non self aligning. make sure you replace what you have with the same type or make provisions for a complete conversion to the new locating system. you can't mix the two systems.
