More flow numbers

Speaking of flow #s, these came back from Dart the other day. This is a set of 200 Iron Eagles. They came to me with 2.02"/1.6" valves in them. I had Dart cut in 2.055" and 1.625" valves, then I ported them gently and carefully afterwards, relieved the combustion chambers, and put Manley Race-Flo valves in them. Then I had Dart ceramic-coat and flow them afterwards.

Intake
.200" 136.0
.300" 192.2
.400" 244.5
.500" 278.2
.600" 276.2

Exhaust
.200" 100.6
.300" 137.8
.400" 171.7
.500" 180.5
.600" 187.0
.700" 190.4

I believe they used a pipe on the exhaust, not sure what they did on the intake side.

Dart rates them at 262 @ .500" on the intake and 175 @ .600" on the exhaust.

Should make some serious power with those.

What are you going to use these bad boys on?
I'm assuming a small motor w/ short stroke (327 or 352)
Just kidding...I know how you preach about the big motors and not wasting the cubic inch...

Gonna show us how easy it is to reach 10s in the qtr on pump gas I bet!

I'm thinking I might put them on a 335; or maybe a 356 (same thing, except 4" stroke)

Those are outstanding numbers, good call and good job Being nosey now, how much more did they charge to upgrade to the larger valves?

Thanks IHI! I thought they turned out OK too, since they flow more than Dart's spec for the Pro 1 215s, and these still have the smaller port (they use the 1205 gasket instead of the 1206). I haven't cc'ed the ports but I'd bet they're not much over 205cc. I really didn't remove very much metal at all, tried to keep it to a minimum.

Seems like it was about $175 to get them to cut the seats. They use one of those one-step cutters, and put the radiused exhaust seat and multi-angle valve job and all that on them.

I got them used, and after doing all this, it looks like I probably should have bought them new already set up the way I wanted them.... probably would have been cheaper in the long run than upgrading these (except of course for the porting).

Thanks for the opportunity to view your handiwork, RB . . . Looks nice.
If there's a question, it's how much time do you have in that?
One of the less critical, but most difficult and time consuming areas, is the guide boss.
Did you do that yourself also, or was it cast that way?
