Ewwe edelbrock stuff
! A better kit if thats what your into (kit power) would be a #300-502 Systemax kit $332.99 and you could use any carb you wanted. Of course if you really wanted to make power #300-503-1 if you have $1400 burning a hole in you wallet. Ive actaully used this kit in a 64 Impala with a 750VS carb and it worked very well. Very, very, very well.

I didn't purchase the cam, but I did install an Edelbrock 4bbl carb & aluminum intake on my 69 nova.
It gave much better throttle response & more torque than the old cast-iron & quadraject 4bbl.
Also, the electric choke is very nice to have.
However, I will mention that, in my experience, the electric choke carbs come tuned very lean. If you are building something you want to be quick, you will want to upgrade the step-up springs & rods (which will cost atleast another $40+).
Just my opinion.
Hope this helps.

Edelbrock cams are junk, there carbs are pretty bad too. I wouldn't use any edelbrock stuff unless it was an intake.

Yeah, I was always told to stay away from Edelbrock carbs,
not sure on the cam, can't say from any experience.
Although, I do run a Victor jr. intake on 2o2 Performer RPM heads!
I'm pushin' somewhere into the mid 400's as of now, that's also w/ all the engine work, rear end, and basically race ready car.
Nothing wrong with edelbrock stuff. I use it, a lot of people around here use it. Personally I've never had a better card, and would NEVER buy a holley. But i wont say they are junk, Ive just never had a good experience with them.

'86'Bowtie' your not the only one running a Victor Jr. on RPM heads, however I'm using a CompCam with this combo.
Also running a Holley 4150 on top of all this stuff
Got my feet on both sides
