changing alternator, How?

I discovered recently that my alternator is hosed. I bought a new unit today but when i looked at the old one, I can't figure out how to get it out. It has these strange bolts on it, factory GM, I don't know if i need a special tool for these. Has anyone changed one of these things?

They're called Torx bits. They're available almost anywhere, but make sure you get a decent set of them, or you might end up stripping the bolts.
