I finally recieved my Edelbrock Performer RPM TBI intake today from JEGS. The intake looks great, BUT there are a couple little scratches on the polished surface that the TBI will be sitting on. They are not really deep, just deep enough to feel. Should I be alarmed by this and send it back, or should it be ok? Will the gasket take care of this or will I have to sand it down? What should I do?

 

i doubt they cause you any problem unless they extend from the inside to the outter edge and then i still doubt they cause you any problems.

 

Mine has the same "scratches" you mentioned. You should be perfectly fine. Don't you mean performer tbi, not performer rpm tbi?
