But, to answer you question: Depends upon what all you want to work afterwards. You can get it running with intake & gaskets, carb, 3-port fuel pressure regulator, air cleaner, mechanical/vacuum advance distributor, accelerator cable, brackets for alternator (I believe), thermostat housing & possibly upper radiator hose, some rewiring to keep the fuel pump running; misc. nuts, bolts, fuel lines, wires, etc. Tie wraps & electrical tape to tie back harnesses/connectors you aren't going to need anymore (until you switch it back to TPI). Is it auto or manual tranny? If auto, you'll need a TV cable. Pull the bulb from the SES light.
Do you want the cruise to work? New cable. AC? Brackets for compressor. TCC lockup? Manual switch or kit from Summit/Jegs. EGR? Carb-type EGR valve.
I probably forgot something.

I dont see why the alternator or a/c would need different brackets since its independant of the intake manifold right now. I plan on going back to tpi at smog time but right now its not smog legal with the long tube headers, miniram, no cats, no smog tubing etc. Do i need a different TV cable than what i have? ill order a kit for the lockup convertor. Can i keep my big electric fuel pump that pushes EFI type pressure and just turn down the pressure with the regulator???

I don't know about on a Vette, but on my 87Z all I needed was a TV cable bracket from Holley, no new cable. Got it from Jegs for under $20 I think. I also did not need any new acc brackets, again its a 87Z though.
I got by w/ a Mallory 3-50 psi fuel pressure regulator, (Jegs, $70ish) a non-comp controlled distributor, and that was it other than the carb and intake obviously. I had to run a wire over to the fuel pump relay to circumvent the oil pressure safety thing since I ditched the computer. Just runs when the key is on now.
For the torque converter lockup I purchased a TCI universal kit from either Jegs or Summit, it was around $70 I believe.
I believe that was it, I don't think I forgot anything...
Also, w/ a 3" catco cat being the only emissions device anywhere on the car I passed the IM240 or whatever it's called dyno emissions test w/ ease. They're not too strict on the visual I guess though, although I'm not sure they'd know it didn't come w/ a carb anyway. Maybe it's different there in the people's republic of Kali...

The TV cable goes to the front of the manifold on the TPI, but only the middle on a carb. It'll be too long, but I guess that's better than too short! So, yes, suppose you could get by with that.
If your AC brackets don't go to the intake, then you're okay. Was trying to picture it all from memory (it's in pieces in the garage attic).
