Is a jet stage 2 chip really worth 16-18 hp like it said on thier web page. The said taht was the average.

I'm also interested in this. I plan on going as far as worldproduct heads, accel intake base, siamesed runners and ported plenum. (and a standard rebuild on the engine with hyper... pistons.) on my 305TPI
I think the Jet chip would work well.
Any comments?

BTW, for the money it costs to get an aftermarket chip, you can buy the stuff to make your own and play with it. We have a great PROM board here who will help you out, and Glen, one of the moderators there, is a very helpful person too.

 

Jeez guys... ALL he wants to know if the Jet chip is worth the money. I had a Jet Stage 2 chip in my car for a few months. Yes it does make a difference, but I dont know about 20 HP. Maybe 10. It did make about 1 tenth difference on my G-Tech. While now I have a custom chip that took off about 6 tenths, we wont go into that. LoL
