Will 1.6 rockers fit Vortech heads?

Has anyone put 1.6 rockers on Vortech heads? I was wondering if pushrod hole is clearanced enough? It's easier to ask than to take covers off & find out they won't work.

Yea they will fit but it depends on which ones you get. You will need narrow body ones. Also, don't forget to check for coil bind if you will be getting close to .470" lift.

I was planning on cheap stamped steel, replacing ones on HT383 crate motor, relatively small camshaft.

Cheap stamped steel "1.6" rockers will probably end up providing less lift than real 1.5s.

I wouldn't waste the money, just to put the same garbage back on.
