engine misfire

i am a automotive technition and i just rebuilt my 3.1 liter LHO and placed the motor back into the original car which is a 1990 camaro RS and the motor misfires at idle and has no power when driveing it. it has good compression in all cylinders and a good blue saprk, all new wires, cap and rotor and plugs. the gas is good in the tank. i checked all my injectors and they are ok. the check engine light is not on. i have pulled all my hair out trying to fugure out what is wrong if any one has a idea please help me thanks.

i have since done a running compression test on the #1 cylinder and i am getting a reading of 100 LBS i think i should only have around 80 LBS. the #1 cylinder is my problem i have found out but what it is i`m not sure.

If you have good compression on all cylinders and you are positive the injectors are spraying fuel make sure that you don't have 2 plug wires crossed.

You did double check your timing and wire routing right? How is the fuel pressure, could dirt have gotten in the hose while it was off? Just a few things to try and help you out of your slump, good luck.

i'd look at cam timing, crossed wires, vacuum leaks, rocker adjustment
