How to tell rod size? 5.7 or 5.565?

I have a 400sb and I am need of different pistons. How can one tell whether the rod is a 5.7 or the stock 5.565? The engine is assembled. What part of the rod do you take the measurement from. I believe it is center to center. Thanks,

yes it's center to center but good luck measuring them with it assembled.
best bet is to get the part# off the piston and call the piston manufacturer to find out.

There are no identifying marks on top of the piston. Is there any kind of marking on the rod itself? I have looked but see nothing.
