Thinking of buying this '87 IROC-Z, need some info though
I'm looking at this car:

I'm needing some general information on this car if possible (what kind of stuff often breaks, is the lug pattern the same as late model camaros? what kind of factory options, how much it weighs, etc etc etc...basically anything and everything). I just sold my '92 GT about 2 months ago and now i'm looking for a project car.
I've got a 350 roller (i think it's a 73 or 74 block) with double hump heads that i'd like to put in it. Does anyone know if the headers in it (Edelbrock TES) will bolt up to early model heads? I was planning on just carbing it (cost and tuning reasons).
Thanks guys,
Travis

I've been looking for sometime for one with a bad engine (as i've got a built one ready to go in). You don't think it's worth $1500 with all the extra's he is including (he's being firm on the price)??
Quote from him:
I'm somewhat new to the 3rd generation camaro world, so any input is good input.
Thanks

The motor is still in the car, the heads
and top end are removed from it at this time. The car will come with the
full exhaust (edelbrock TES jet hot coated headers, and full 3" MAC catback
exhaust) The tranny was rebuilt 8k ago with a shift kit and 2600 stall. I
also have a B&M megashifter installed, it's almost new. The steering wheel
has been replaced with a Grant GT steering wheel with chrome spokes. The
Ported L98 heads and zz3 cam will be included as well. The interior is in
good shape. I just put in a new dash pad and headliner.</font>

Looks like a good deal to me w/ the all the goodies. That's exactly the type of setup I would want when buying a car w/ a blown motor. Alot of money in aftermarket parts alone...
