blue smoke
Hi ihave a dumb question since i dont now that much about cars .
The car used to send some blue smoke at start-up but since i fixed the egr so its working properly the smoke never came back. At full throttle it sends some blue smoke, can something else but valve seals, piston rings cause this ?? The engine work great, smooth idle and good power so i dont know what could cause this blue smoke.

Besides those two....the only other thing I could think of is a problem with the PCV return line. In other words, liquid oil somehow getting into the vac line INSTEAD of oil vapor.

Its very possible that i have a problem with the pcv thing, it smells oil in the car at full throttle.

Ok i found the pcv, the right one was just a hole and it had a lot of oil and was really messy and the left one looks just fine. Look at the pictures.
Could this bee the cause of all my troubles with the blue smoke and the smell of oil inside the car when i hit the throttle?

Well, considering as how a PCV only costs like $3 MAX at most automotive stores, it doesnt hurt to replace it. Also, blue smoke at WOT can also be blamed on rings that are shot or have been aligned.

Ok, should the pcv on the passenger side just be a hole or am i missing something. The left one doesnt look like that.
Re: blue smoke
I push a big cloud of blue smoke under full throttle now . but not at start up or part throttle . I like to listen to that FUEL song by Metallica and floor it to strategically place a blue cloud of smoke into a bus stop . These people need to know my pimp game is strong , and that I keeps it real !
