What should I pay to rebuild an performance engine?

Any general ideas on what it would cost to have the rings and bearings replaced and a general rebuild of a 383 stroker?
It was run on a lot of boost(15lbs). But it was on forged pistons so hopefully it held up. I still think a rebuild is a good idea before I put it in anything.

The least money will be spent on parts if your sourcing out all the labor. Are you pulling the motor yourself,or driving the car to a shop and telling them to rebuild it? You'll save alot of money if you do the R&R of the motor yourself.
Parts cost: $85-130rings,50-60bearings,20oil pump,90-110gaskets.
Labor: Clean block, install cam bearings and hone-$75-125. To do the rebuild,if you deliver the motor probably around$400-700.If the shop is going to R&R the motor add another $300-500.
Good Luck.
