Bad TCC lockup solenoid? But that wouldn't explain why the problem doesn't carry over to 3rd or 4th gear.
So does it feel like a drivetrain problem? Like a bucking or a shuddering?

I do not know what u mean, all I can say is the shaking is bad enough it has lossended some of the interior parts
It only happens when accelerating straight from 2nd, once I rev about 2000 rpms or so it goes away
no other problems

Does it seem to happen mainly when accelerating at really low rpms? Low rpms accelerating means heavy load....which sounds like a misfire to me, most likely in the ignition system.
But you still haven't mentioned whether it feels like an engine problem or a drivetrain problem. Is the car itself just...JERKING, or does it feel like the problem is coming from the engine? Or to put it another way.... If you let off the gas when its happening, does it stop? If you give it more gas, does it get worse until the rpms get higher or you hit another gear?

No problem. Check your spark plugs, plugwires, and distributor cap and rotor first. Those are the cheapest.

Could be fuel, too.
A lot of low-RPM bucking is caused by that. Mine will do it in any gear around 1200-1600 whenever my MAF decides to cut out and it starts getting too much or too little fuel.
