305 TBI Engine questions...

Hi i am looking into buying a 92 RS Camaro, and it appears to have the TBI Engine. I am not familiar with this engine at all, is there any benefits at all to this engine? what is the HP and TQ rating? Any and all info good or bad is appreciated!

Scroll down to the 92's. It has the LO3.

The engine can sort of get out of its own way while getting decent fuel economy. The next best thing about it is it has the same external dimensions as real small block Chevys.

yes, it should come with the World Class T-5. My 91 did. and, yes, 3.08 would be the stock rear end.

theres not much at the top end, above 4K -- but, I was pulling mid 15's all day long when I had my stock setup. Good enough.

Benefits of TBI ???
Okay -- try this

This month's Chevy High Performance has an article on building up the 305 TBI. It can certainly be done.
