how do you "lock out" a vaccum advance HEI?

how do you "lock out" a vaccum advance HEI?
I want to lock out the timing on my firebird to 37 total. Any ideas on how to do it with a vacuum advance distributor?

remove the vacuum line set the timing whereever you want it and lock the weights in palce, or lock the weights and set the timng where you want it.
