Headers for angle head plugs...

I need to know if there are any headers made that will bolt up to my Dart Pro 1 heads and my exhisting exhaust collectors? My heads are angle plug heads.

By existing exhaust collectors, do you mean original manifold style, or an aftermarket one?

Well, I just took off my manifolds, so I was hoping there was a shorty style header that would work. I noticed that most of these aftermarket headers require a adapter to make it work with your existing exhaust setup. Just wished there was a set that just replaced your standard manifolds.

There are no headers that will bolt to that pipe, but most shorties you buy come with a y-pipe included. Anyway, the stock pipe is pretty restrictive, youre better off replacing with something that has some flow potential.

I just noticed in your profile that you're using a transgo shift kit. Can you tell me about your experience with it in your car? I might be looking into it. Also, what hp/torque are you pushing with your car? Thanks

Ive only got about 700 miles on the engine/trans, Im still working the bugs out. So far though, the kit seems to have really firmed up the shifts, no delay or flare. I didnt do the install myself, but it took an experienced trans. tech the better part of a day. Theres a lot to it compared to most. As far as my power/torque, Im not sure yet. Im dynoing it in June at the midwest fbody meet, hopefully at least 340-350hp at the wheels.
