Headers if you get ones sized for a 350, which would be 1¾" primaries; AFPR; I wouldn't bother with an ignition; high-flow cat; cat-nack; not injectors
hate to jump in before RB or five7 has the chance to answer you, but basically any external part will interchange. only problem area might be heads and intakes with the new style center bolt holes. most of the things you list aren't really regulated by engine size, like the ignition box or AFPR

And by 3" mandrel bent pipe, did you mean standard 3" pipe that can be mandrel bent or 3" pipe that has been pre-bent? Either way, i know mail order places like Summit and JCWhitney carry 3" straight piping. Im sure Jegs has it as well. Any proficient exhaust shop should carry normal 3" pipe as well. Unless you meant stainless, then that might be a mail order thing. Call your local exhaust shops and ask.

Wow, reviving a thread from the dead. As for your 305 to 350 swap, if your 305 and 350 heads both have the centerbolt heads, then the intake should bolt right up. If not you can oval out the two center bolt holes on each side of the intake to get it to match up. I've done it before, but the stock 4 barrel intake was basically a piece of crap best used as a boat anchor. I would use an Edelbrock Performer 2101. All of your mounts and accessories will line up just fine. The exhaust on the 305 was marginal at best, and would be better off being swapped in order to make the most power from your 350. I can't remember what headers I used when I did this swap, since it was over 10 years ago, but there are many sugestions on the exhaust forum. The only other issue that you may run into would be tuning the Quadrajet and the ignition curve, since both are partially computer controlled. Neither is impossible, very do-able, but most people aren't willing to do the extra work and just throw a different carb and a regular HEI distributor.

Every part on a 350 and 305 are interchangeable except the pistons, yes that includes the rods an crankshaft, although heads with 2.02 valves will have shrouding issues. Does that mean you should interchange all the parts no, but all of the parts are interchangeable.

I would imagine it would be a bad idea to put a 305 crank shaft into a 350, but would it be a bad idea to put a 350 crank and rods in a 305? I would imagine it wouldn't matter especially if you are buying aftermarket.

Re: 305 to 350 Interchangable Parts
as long as the oil pan matches the block, no. some headers may interfere with the dipstick being on the other side of the block though though.

So I know this thread has been dead for a good while but I'm curious, are the spark plugs from a 1984 305 interchangeable with a 1994 350?

Isn't the easy answer everything but the block, pistons, crank and heads? oh, and computer. especially for a TPI car.

Re: 305 to 350 Interchangable Parts
They're "interchangeable" in the sense that they fit. As far as "ideal" or "right" or any of that, it's a definite maybe.
If you have a 94 350 in a 84 car that originally came with a 305, best to use the spark plugs spec'ed for that motor, and not worry about ones for the motor that was originally wrapped in that sheet metal. I can assure you, spark plugs DO NOT CARE about the sheet metal wrappings, or STICKERZZZ!!!!!, or # of cup holders, or year model. They have bigger issues on their minds.
