Timing help needed.
Ok, some of you know that I changed head gaskets this week. Well the engine is back together, I am getting spark to the spark plugs, the wires are all going to the right cylanders (had to double check just in case
).. The car won't start.. Originally I thought that there was a possibility that I could be 360 out of timing, so this morning, I got the mark to 0 pulled the distributor out, turned the engine til it came back to 0 and put it back in... still same problem.. So I took it out and turned it around again...
Can someone give me a hint as to what I can try, or how I can isolate what the problem is??

set the #1 piston to the top of the compression stroke, you can feel air come out the hole when it reaches the top or near the op then set the timing marks to zero or where your timing should be, then pull and reinstall the distributor with the rotor pointing to the #1 post on the cap. it should fire there.
