My Iroc won't start. I have checked the codes, and nothing showed up. It won't crank, and I cant hear the fuel pump come on, but everything else works. I'm sure it is probably simple but it has baffled me. Any one got any ideas? It's an 89 Tpi setup all stock. Thanks in advance.

I had a problem like that. My car wouldn't start but it tried to turn over. I cleaned the spark plugs and I got it to start. I also took the gas line going into the carb off and blew air through the carb to clean any clogs. then I tried to start the car with the gas line off to see if gas was making it to the carb. Good luck

 

Check the ECM/fuel pump fuse by the battery on the right side of the radiator. It should have 2 wires going into it with a cover on it. I don't have access to my car so I don't remember what color the wires are. Good luck

Thanks. It is the starter. I just replaced it with one from AutoZone. Piece of junk if you ask me.
