I have a problem. I am swapping a radiator from my stock 88 GTA's, to a radiator from a 85 z28. There is one hole i have on mine that isn't in the z28 rad. I was previosly told on this board what that was and now i found another difference. There is a sensor or something it is a plug with a small piece of metal sticking out that plugs into the right side in the middle on the radiator. There is not whole for that sensor/plug on the new rad. So what should I do.

Check the archives on this. I recall a sensor in the right tank of some radiators (probably GTA) that were used as a coolant level sensor. I might be off on this, so a check of the archives would be a good idea.

Ok, so according to an older post i heard that it is for the gauges, to read the temperature of the car. Alright so I don't NEED to have it hooked up correct, it is just for my guages
Please help.
