Anybody run a similar combo?

Hey guys,

I'm going to be dropping my new stroker motor in soon and can hardly wait! I was wondering if anyone runs a similar combo...preferably same heads.

My questions are:
Hows mileage?
Pass emissions?
qtr mile times?
hp/tq?

Just the typical stuff....so now here's my long-assed list of goodies!

*takes deep breath*

385ci
4.04 x 3.74
10:1

Wiseco flat-top 2vr, 3/16 rings
Fully balanced
Deck height now 9.005

Sportsman II (Iron)
200cc
72cc chambers
2.02/1.6
3-angle
polished chambers
bowl blended
work on short-turn
narrowed guides

Comp custom Hyd. Roller
287/293 ad.
236/242 .05
.520/.540 w/ 1.5
110 lobe separation
106 centerline
installed straight-up, +4 built in

Holley street avenger 670
Offenhauser Dial-a-flow high rise single plane with plenum inserts to tune rpm

1.5" shorty headers to 3" cat-back

700R4 w/ 3.27s

I think thats enough to get the picture...I built this motor to try an be as efficient as possible. I try and keep mileage up I opted to keep my small gears. I know that I could pull a few extra ponies with a bigger carb but i feel that 670 is fine...and since I have a small carb then small headers shouldn't hurt too much until I can get some nice JET coated 1 5/8s.

Please let me know what you think. I am mostly worried about passing e-check....I dont have a visual and they don't even check at idle...only running speeds! Gas mileage is my next concern with speed and power falling where they may. It will be faster then any other setup that i've run before and im happy with that.

Thanks guys!

If you have emission to pass, im not sure thats the best combo to use. Then again, im not sure what, if any, emissions you have to worry about.

I have a sniffer to pass...they don't even check it at idle, just running speed. I think it will pass...it should be a pretty efficient motor. The only thing that worries me is high compression could = high NOx. I'm looking to see if anyone else with a big cam like that has passed a sniffer.
