lost ignition keys,,,need help

well i can't find my keys anywhere i have a spare door key but not one to start the car. i was wonderin if its possible to remove the cylinder with the steerin wheel locked. also since i have an airbag i need to remove the 4 bolts on the back of the wheel but i can't get to one b/c of the position of the wheel and the column. how should i go about replacing the cylinder??

Since you have a '91, you may still be in luck. Take your vin to the nearest chevy dealer and see if they can still look up your key codes. If so, they can cut a key for you right there if they have the right chip key in stock. (and if not you can try and convince them to tell you the resistance and have them just cut a regular key while the new one comes in, go home and disable teh VATS)

i thought of doing that but the cylinder is not the original one. any other ideas?

VATS is already disabled so all i need is a regular key.

Find a 'flying locksmith'. They can come out and make a key while the cylinder is still in the car.
