Vortech Heads What gasket?

I am getting ready to put a set of vortech 350 heads on my 305 question is what head gasket do I use.

hi and welcome to thirdgen. i'm not sure i'd put 350 heads on a 305. i think you'll drop a lot of compression because of the larger chambers, but hard to say with out knowing for sure what you have and what the new heads have. unless there's something i'm missing about the vortechs i'd use a regular old coated fel pro gasket.

Thanks for the welcome but its Me Brian Felts. My Prfile got all messed up so I had to re-register.

Anyway Yes you mill them down to about .035 and use .o15 head gaskets and come up with about 9.5 to 1 compression.

Car craft did this same buildup and came up with 324 hp. (non roller) mine is a roller with a little bigger cam.
