TPS socket wiring HELP!
TPS socket wiring HELP!
Hello, I just need to know what color wires go into the TPS pigtail and in what postion ( from top to bottom) they go in. There are only three wires. I have a 92 Z28 w/L98. Thanks.

This is from the V6 board, but maybe it'll help some. There's a nice closeup of a TPS about 3/4 of the way down the page.

The wire color coding for the TPS on a 92 camaro is the following.
Pin "A" = BLACK (sensor ground)
Pin "B" = DARK BLUE (TPS signal)
Pin "C" = GRAY (5v reference)

See the wires on my car dont look to be those colors, i keep finding the same problem. My wires are a black wire, a blueish grey looking one and one that looks kinda like orange. Could these possibly be faded?

I am looking at the wiring schematic for a l98 engine in a 92 GM service manual and I also have a wiring pigtail from a 92 camaro in my hand. The wire colors I posted are the correct ones. There is no orange wire in it. Are you replacing a connector or trying to splice a connector on there?
