car cutting out at 5000rpm part 2

ok ive check my msd ,my wires,plugs,coil all good only thing i can find wrong is 02 sensor goes from ready to not ready "on my auto xray could that some how be my prob? ill go from closed loop to open loop and o2 stops reading "ready" i think i need a heated o2 but could this be related to my cutting out i have a 87 355 tpi maf system thanks

check your valve adjustment and springs.

whats your knock retard at 5000rpms? I find mine is the highest at 5k.

Does your fuel pressure increase past 5k or drop?

Check to make sure you wired the coil right. If you reversed the polarity it will run, but loose the top end.
