headlights will not turn on
i have a 92 camaro and the headlight will not turn on...although the drving lights will...i tried to switch it to high beams and the switch did not click into place...could this have something to do with why my headlights will not turn on

You noticed a clue: your high beam switch is fornicated somehow. Since both your low beams and high beams have to pass through that, it can easily cause them both to fail.
Have you taken a look at that? You would probably get more information by looking there, than anything else you could do.
