help guys.....

i still need advice about this oil presure thing....im not getting any presure up to the valve covers......no presure on the guage.....choke light is on costantly....top speed is 30 mph....and i have alot of oil being sprayed into the air cleaner via the breather hose from the valve covers.......i need to know what to do before i go crazy....

the choke light may be a problem in the charging system. i'd do a compression and leak down test then post the results here, plus what kind of car/engine you're working on.

its a 84 TA 305 HO 4bbl.....im mostly worried bout the iol presure....i gotta take one step at a time lol

I'd start at the catalytic converter. Sounds to me like it's plugged. That would account for the total lack of power and the pressure in the crankcase.

Choke light is almost certainly the charging system like ede said.

Oil doesn't always squirt everywhere out of valve train parts. There's not necessarily anything wrong there. Do you know in fact that you have no oil pressure? What does the gauge read? How long has the engine been running like this? If it's been a long time, then you have at least some oil pressure, because it would have locked up after about 5 minutes max of running with none.

the guage read 0 the whole time.....it ran at idle for about 30 mins....and i drove it bout 10 blocks/5-6 mins.....then it died hard...so now what? any sugesstions?

I suggest you never run a car that long with 0 oil pressure.

Clean off the dipstick, start the car, then check it.. if oil's splashed up on it, then stuff's moving around somehow down there, so you've probably got pressure.
