like i said im thinking about getting some new heads. im really interested in the Pro-Topline heads. i have the stock 76 sbc 350 heads on my car right now. i was wondering if i would be able to use the guts from my old heads and transplant them into the new heads. if not then how much more would it be to get them assemebled aproxximently?

also im 16 years old that makes 6 dollars an hour. im on a budget.

 

I wouldn't do it, the springs are probably worn out, and not up to the task of performance. Also the valves are probably to small 1.94" or 1.84" vs. 2.02 for your PRO's.

 

it'd be a step backwards to reuse most if not all the parts in your old heads. if it were me i'd buy the heads bare. then you can buy the springs to match your cam, studs, some good valves like manely race flows, and all the small pieces then assemble them yourself.

 

When you take a ****, do you reuse the toilet paper you used the last time? Being on a budget and all.
