Ram Air - Is it worth the trouble?
Ram Air - Is it worth the trouble?
I was thinking of installing one of two options for better air flow.
1) A ram-air scoop under my Trans Am and piping it up to the stock air cleaner.
2) finding a dual snorkel air cleaner from an HO engine.
Which of the two options would work the best?

depends on what year and motor you have.
ramair seems to work really well on SD and carbed cars.
I have mine integrated into a foglight opening on the pass side and I noticed more power over 60. I think if mine was SD I might notice a bigger difference but I still think the cold air is better than where the stock box breathes.

Speed Density. It will also work good on MAF.

Looking For:
87 IROC-Z28 350 TPI
The car I want.
84 TRANS AM 305 H.O.
Another car that would be OK to own while I still look for the IROC-Z!!
