The other day I was stopped at a red light and my car just died for no reason. It seems to do that sometimes. Not a lot but about once a week. I have a Jet chip and an open air filter element. Could that be causing this? If not what else would it be. ???? PLEASE HELP????

How many RPM's you spinning in drive? May just need to bump up the idle a little. Does it do it when fully warmed or cold? Have you checked the park/neutral switch? Sorry for all the q's, just need some more info.

Give your vaccuum lines a look. If they don't seal right because of age or dryrot, they'd cause the problem you described.
