Air cleaner flow
Just curious, If an LG4 with "peanut" cam has trouble breathing through our single snorkel air cleaner, how did a 57 chevy with a 327 breath through this thing?

It's a trick question! 57 Chevys didn't come with a 327. The 327 didn't come out until 63.
You should watch "My Cousin Vinnie".
But if a 57 Chevy had come with a 327 and that air cleaner, the way it woudl have breathed through it, would have been poorly at best.
And people still insist on believing all this romantic crap about how fast those cars were back then.
I'll bet that's off either a "350 HP" or a "375 HP" 327; which would have made about 250 and 275 HP at the flywheel respectively, after removing that air cleaner, by today's "ratings" methods.
