low 8s high 7s

i have a roller 350 that i want to build to run low 8s or high 7s in the 1/8. the car is not a daily driver either. right now i have 041(double hump) heads, i was thinking of a comp XR282 cam and about 9.5:1 compression. would that be enough to get it there with a beefed up 2004r trans and 4.10 gears? thanks.
