Just ran my car with gtech hooked up

15.82 @ 92.1mph
my d*mn tires just kept spinning so I couldn't launch it from higher rpms
so how's this for a fresh (under 2000miles after rebuit) .030 over 88 t/a with 305TPI with
ported plenum,
heads gasket matched,
cam from '90 350 (#773),
T5 w/ b&m shifter,
3.42 (open) rear,
stock manifolds to 3" exhaust w/o cat to flowmaster 80 series
I know I'm running it again but that's it for now
so what do you think?

think you need some headers and a better cam.

The peg-leg rear is killing your ET. You'll drop a half second easy when you can finally launch that thing hard off the line. My G-tech usually reads about 2-4 MPH fast vs. actual dragstrip timing, so take with a grain of salt. However, your MPH is going to be low due to the extreme traction problems anyway, so don't read too much into the numbers until you can actually lauch that thing. Overall, I'd say it's running at least as good as a new stock TPI 305 back in the day so you're on your way.

no to seem **** or brag, but those times arent the greatest, with a completely stock engine except open element and cat back i run 15.6 @94, in a L03 tbi, you should be making more power, have you tried tunning the thing cus theres extra power there you just need to find it
