This site is helping me more every day. What a wealth of info!!! "87 IROC Z-28, TPI 350, interrmittent Code 36(sometimes it's there, sometimes it's not.). Where is the born-off relay located? My Haynes doesn't show it.

 

This is from Vaders' T/A, but I have the same thing on my '86 IROC

It's a common occurrance that these three relay locations can be interchanged. So before making the assumption that the burnoff relay is the innermost relay of the three, check the wire colors at the relay connectors.

The burnoff relay has four wires: Two orange, one dark blue and one black. The fuel pump relay has five wires: Two orange, one tan/white, one green/white and one black/white. The MAF power relay also has five wires: One orange, one dark blue, one red, one tan/white and one black/white.
