305 to 350 power add?

Hi!
Does any of you have any experience of swapping from 305 tbi to 350 tbi whith the same mods.
I am looking for a nice driveable 350tbi whith these mods:Ported 305 tpi heads, LT1 cam-95,670 cfm tbi.edelbroc performer intake bored to 2",Headders,3" full flow exhaust, custom chip.
I am a little disapointed of my 305 today.
Please feel free to replay if you have any comments of this swap.
Thanks
I am also thinking of selling my cab for a lighter Iroc ,that heavy cab eats hp to no good.

Sorry forget to tell you that my goal on that new 350 is about 300HP.

I switched over from a 305 TBI to 350 TBI.......the difference was night and day. Then went from TBI to TPI and the difference was night and day again. Only problem is now the car just wants to sit and spin off the tires But all in all i'de never go back to a 305 nor TBI. Nothing wrong with either one of them, just doesn't have the HP or torque.

Yeah the 305 tbi to 350 swap was a pretty big change. I had a few problems getting my 350 tbi to run right but it was worth it once it was running. With that setup you should see 300hp at the fly as long as you have a good tune. Good Luck.

I dont want to spend any more money on that 305 if it like you say,I will go for a 350 TBI becose these engines are wery cheap here in sweden. What should i do to that engine to get to the 300hp range, heads and cam or just tuning whith intake and exhaust?

Youll need a good set of heads and a decent sized cam. performence intake, throttle body, and exhaust to reach 300hp plus tuning. The ported 305 tpi heads and lt1 cam combo sounds good. Good Luck.
