Remove whatever is in the way of removing the valve covers, then remove the valve covers.
Unscrew the 1st rocker, remove rocker, ball, & nut. Oil up and install new rocker, ball & nut (this would be a good time for new push rods), tighten approximately to point of removed rocker. Repeat for remaining 15.
Adjust the rockers by the book. I'd repeat what the book says, but I'm about 656 miles away from my book right now.
Clean old gasket from valve covers & heads, install new gaskets, replace covers and whatever you removed to get to them.
