Edelbrock TES with vette heads?

Edelbrock TES with vette heads?
Will this setup work? I know the vette heads have a D shaped exhaust port, will this matter much? And will the headers interfere with the spark plugs?
As for the EGR, can I just put a blocker plate on the intake and be done with it?

The exhaust port on the Vette heads is almost larger than the port on the edelcrock headers. But yah it'll work, it just wont be ideal.
