I found a burnt sparkplug wire and my car has begun to run ruff.

I replaced my burnt wire with a new one, but it still seemes to run ruff, mind you after a mile of driving it clears up; (probably from storage), but the next day it starts again please help with some ideas?

 

I had the same problem, my car backfired and ran crappy, it was a plug that was on a header, I you sure there aren't any other bad wires.

About it running fine after a mile, I had the same dilemma, it seemed once the car warmed up the backfire went away.

 

Did you try to pull the spark plug out(the one that had the burnt wire on it)? Maybe it got fouled out?
